Yes, yes!! Awesome stuff!! Digweed and Sasha, in my opinion, created their very best work with the entire Northern Exposure series. Last Train... is so hauntingly beautiful, and currently relevant.

I'm not sure that Toby Marks would approve of all these Sad comments. Just been to the 20th Anniversary launch, and I'm sorter glad none of you aggressive folk attended. Whats the world coming to I ask you... I've been listening to this tune for over 15 years and It's still one of my all time favourites, first heard it at Glastonbury 1995 in the Avalon tent powered by cycles...

Before all the changes brought about after the Chinese revolution of 1949, there were no roads in Tibet that wheeled vehicles could travel. All travel was over winding, dangerous mountain trails by mule, by foot or by yaks which are hairy cow-like mountain animals. Trade, communications and centralized government were almost impossible to maintain. rense(DOT)com/general81/faeeof(DOT)htm

sorry buddy, I actually don't know what's happening over there or what has happened. Currently, all traveling to Tibet has been banned. There are reports that the monks are rioting. Pretty much like it happened in Bhurma recently. They are being brutally supressed. Of course Chine denies this. I don't know what to believe. We will never really know exactly what's happening inside as I'm post this comment. This song is great, it conveys many feelings, like compassion and tolerance, and a s

actually the Tibetan system is brutally oppressive against "lower" classes, where the religious leaders don't do anything and live in rich palaces, while the poor peasants work their butts-off and if they get sick they are told by their priests that it's because of "evil-spirits". What China has done is give those peasants some dignity

Why anybody worry about Tibet, and forgetting England's occupation of Northern Ireland, Chechnya, Bask land, Kurdistan... USA? Americans took over USA from the Indians, who complained? Tibet was a poor undeveloped feudalist country before China took over, now they are part of the biggest empire of the world with all its benefition. Think about it.

Tibetans happened to be in wrong time at a wrong place and, the most important, their army and weapons were inferior to their enemy's. it has happened to so many wonderful tribes in history - Celts, Aztecs, American Indians .. to name just a few. the romanticism of some warm-hearted ppl is clashing directly with cold world of "realpolitik." And be honest to yourself, if YOU had the choice, would you prefer to have bizons still grazing through Silicon valley, instead of enjoying this KZbin?:-)
