They will lose my business if they discontinue the V8. This is exactly what turned me away from Lexus. When you pay for a luxury car you want a luxury engine and a V8 is a symbol of I've made it. It's a luxury trim option it has nothing to do with how fast the car is it's just that sound and knowing that you've got a V8 it's like having chrome trim versus plastic trim. It's a luxury trim option. And Mercedes should come with a V8 not a damn pussy fart 4 cylinder. And not some duck quacking V6. Mercedes is a big car like a Cadillac and they deserve a Luxury Motor. They should all come with a V8. So that you can pull up at a red light and somebody else has got a little 4 cylinder. And you've got a red light shaking V8. It's just a symbol of luxury.

I have the E63s Edition One and it seems to be better equipped as it came with carbon ceramic brakes and the top sound system from Burmester. Also I am happy my car doesn't have the new MBUX touchscreen interface I have this MBUX in my GLA 35 AMG and it drives my crazy!!!. Sad to see these wonderful cars disappear for some basically wrong EVs.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an E63 with regular speakers. Also I hear that AMG is going to replace the V8 with the new inline 6 with a crazy electric motor. Apparently it makes absurd power in testing.

MB hasn't announced the end of the V8 for the E63 it may return in the W214. It may be the last petrol only V8 but the next E63 will be a V8 with an electric motor like the AMG GT e performance.

That engine sounds horrendous. They choked the hell out of it, it doesnt even sound like a V8 anymore. They might as well just go to 4 cylinders and not bother with the v8...these euro noise rules are just too much. Its so irritating to see what they've done to enthusiast engines. I think because of the global chip shortage, Mercedes aren’t offering certain options such as the Multibeam LED and the Burmester sound system, even on other most Mercedes. All the press car pictures show the car without those features which is a shame for a Final Edition.

Its latest production schedule is November 2022. . Our E-450 Kombi order is an all-option, check all the boxes build; "lots of chips".

Mercedes-Benz to me is like a Cadillac Escalade or a Cadillac DeVille it's a full size luxury car and full size luxury cars are supposed to come with a full size Luxury Motor which is a V8 not a damn Toyota V6 or a Nissan Sentra 4 cylinder. This is not a Japanese car. This is a German luxury car it's supposed to be big and Hefty like a Cadillac they're supposed to have a V8. A V8 is a symbol of I've made it. It's a luxury symbol. For someone to say oh my God I can't believe that car has a V8 because they're picturing a V8 to come in like a big heavy Cadillac escalator some shit. But it shocks some people when they find out that that Mercedes has a V8. It's just a luxury symbol. And to some of us it's a deal breaker.

The emblems are nice but I wouldn't want any of them on my car because it's an invite to get them stolen and your car vandalized in the process. If I had to pay the price they ask for it I would have all emblems taken off the car, except the one in the grill but all the other emblems on the outside had to go, even on the trunk the type emblem had to go if it was me buying this car. However it is a nice car man, great sound with the pops only too much dampened to my opinion. I'm sad too to see the combustion engine being phased out, maybe they still have a chance when everyone has an EV and nobody can charge the car because the grid can't deliver the power that's needed and we come to our senses and start using the combustion engine again like normal people.
