What you have missed I think are the nghah lou dawr - shops without shopkeepers, found on most roadsides in Mizoram. Wares/vegetables/fruits are displayed with a price tag and there is a container for you to put the money. You can take what you need and put the money in a container and even take back the change. Would have loved to see you experience this, because it says a lot about the honesty and integrity of the people of this beautiful place.
