Jenn, please cut yourself some slack. You say it's not your creative time of year, but you've outright learned witchcraft (knitting), and you're making like... a million things AND writing a book. It'll be done when it's done. I have to clean my kitchen and make a Christmas dinner today, and hopefully work on my book some more. RE: laptop. Try use Opera instead of Chrome, it's less draining on the CPU and battery.
