Absolutely superb...many thanks for those views. It seems strange in a way that the route has re-opened to Middleton. Perhaps one day we will see the Sunday Excursions running again? Outstanding video Tom, it's quite a shame to see what infrastructure we once had is now falling into disrepair and covered in briars. I've been in Mogeely several times walking around the station and I stood there in awe thinking of all the locos that passed through, seems like it was a completely different lifetime ago.

Excellent video particularly the footage of Youghal station with all the arches open and windows in those days. That view of the station at 9:02 is a very rare view as all other photos and footage never show much of the station. This is the best I have ever seen of the station.

Used to live in Midleton about 1000 ft from the railway line use to play there all the time as kid. Remember the beet trains and the trains going to Youghal. Great memories and a great video.

The railway line will be reopened to trains stop 1) Traffic Jams, 2) Car Accidents, 3) Pollution & 4) Road Deaths of course.
