These Super Puma's are pretty cool looking helicopters, I've never seen one before in person. Very sad event to happen.

I completely agree with you mate. Theyre one of my favourites to see. It was. And when I last went up there in June it was eerie as they were all parked up with their rotors folded.

This is going to sound a bit wierd, but hear me out - the clip at 0:35 of the Jigsaw Puma; do you have the original untrimmed clip, assuming there is one? It's just I reckon my dad was the pilot, and on the scanner you can hear the tower address Bond 1 (at least that's what it sounds like) but the video cuts out before the reply, and I was wondering if there is more to the clip where perhaps the pilot replies? Thanks

From a passengers perspective, I found the ec225 a smoother ride, less vibration and quieter when compared with the s92. The s92 is roomier though.

Had quite a few mixed views on it. But that is interesting to hear you say that. Having been in an S-92 they definitely do have a good bit of room.

Jonathan Winton Speaking to a colleague at work about this today, everyone prefers the s92, for obvious reasons but the problem is the door rattles like it's about to explode for the duration of every flight! Superficial problem but so loud!

I have never seen an EC225 in my life before but I've found them on the internet and I know they sound very good when they are approaching. Shame there was one crash into the North Sea and got all the others suspended from Aberdeen. Where have they all moved to now

+Jonathan Winton What a shame :( I've seen a HM Coastguard Sikorsky S-92 though doing exercise training in Portreath in Cornwall it was very enjoyable to watch it was based at Newquay Airport hope it was as good watching those pumas in Aberdeen flying in and out

A CHC Scotia one also landed at Halfpenny Green Airport in December 2015 the airport is located just outside my city Wolverhampton sadly I wasn't there at the time if I went then it would have been my only time seeing one
