Yuna wore an acrylic nail for the comeback and not a press on which was pretty long and it will really hurt if it is broken and when you are in front of many people you wouldn't want to cry so her reactions were an effect of it even though it looks cringey to most people, I think almost everyone would have reacted that way if they were in the same situation

@@dfernandez3482 Press on nails like the description is actual "press on" nails, Acrylics on the other hand takes longer cause they're taking time to "FIX" the nails so it won't come off. Press on nails are very easy to fall off, but Acrylics if they fall off can legit hurt your nails like your nails can cut off and you can bleed. Plus they hurt like HELLLLL 😭😭😭😭(talking from experience)

For everyone who say Yuna's reaction too Cringe, I think you never have a friend that are hyperactive. A friend that always joking around and make funny/weird face, overeacting about something you told them, etc. I see Yuna having this kind of personality. She reacted that way maybe cringe, but you don't have to mock her for being like that. Being cringe is not a bad thing. Breaking an acrylic nail feels like chopping your real nail off, and she broke a chunk so huge it could've gotten to her real nail and broken it too. I would have started rolling on the floor and yelling if it happened to me, but she handled it without making a loud sound which is really crazy. If you ever had an acrylic nail, you know it isn't easy to break. It's not a press on nail that you buy at the store and put it at home. It's acrylic. It's applied professionally, and secured super tightly on your real nails. Besides being secured in there, it's also very hard and strong, so breaking it is difficult. Not only did Yuna break it, which should be enough to make her cry from pain, but also look at images of her hand after the accident. She broke a huge chunk, the remaining nail was the exact shape as her real nail. She broke almost the entire thing off, it will hurt like her nails got stabbed. Her reaction is completely valid and normal. You can't control your expressions when you feel pain?? Her falling onto the stage with her knees is enough to tell you it hurt to Hell and back. Also, the pain of breaking the nail can stay for up to 3 days. You just want an excuse to hate on her. Leave her the fuck alone.

Also, they do hair and makeup for every celebrity (esp emcees) when they get any sort of break, so that “needing to keep her hair in place is nonsense. When you really think about it, the only thing people really talk about is her looks and the way she acts "omg shes so cute!" "Look how kind Wonyoung is" "Wonyoung is so pretty!" so I really don't blame her for not going all out and focusing more on her looks then dancing. Because at the end of the day, In kpop, People are going to care more about the way you look rather then the way you sing/dance. Also how do we know that starship is not the one forcing her to do this??? We all know Wonyoung and Yujin are being pushed more then the other members. And it's more Wonyoung then Yujin. Why? I use to have this kind of nail, and let me tell you something, when it breaks or even when something fall on the nail without breaking, it hurts more than the natural nails, no joke one time I try to hold this heavy object and it collided on my nail it hurt for more than a week.

If I may, different countries and regions have different norms for example, in the West mostly America, it’s a norm to be overly sexy and mature, that’s why western artists behavior will be viewed as normal while in Asia, the norm as shown is to act cute , this is shown in a many aspects such as the music to the shows watched, it’s all about their culture. Yuna’s behavior will seem cringe to some people in the West and that’s okay , you are allowed to be unimpressed however telling her to change her behavior to fit your standards and preferences is idiotic to say the least , it’s her culture she’s interpreting,it’s her personality and if you don’t like it , you’re free to stop sticking around, it’s disrespectful, just because you wouldn’t act all damsel in distress like doesn’t make her wrong.
