My mom was strangled by a mad man and was left for dead and doctors said she had brain damage, she couldn't walk or talk and had to learn everything all over again.. Doctors said she would be confined to a nursing home in her 30's for the rest of her life. Through the grace of God and strong will and determination, she went through rehab and not only got back to herself 100% after a few years but graduated with a BA in nursing and is working as a nurse. The human mind is powerful, it just takes vision along with determination and you can overcome anything and achieve great things. Life is a mind game, only the mentally tough survive. You can be the strongest man in the world but destroyed by a weak mind. Stay strong CT. I'm praying for you brother!

Mr Fletcher I started watching your videos 3 years ago. I'm 45 had a massive heart attack at 41. I was an avid kick boxer. I went down in the ring. I went from that to barely lifting my arm's. I was devastated. I went into a huge depression. I was ready to take my life. I was preparing for it then one night I came across you on KZbin. I watched a lot of ur stuff that night. I went from preparing my self for death to changing my life I stopped feeling sorry for myself. I am now 80% better I will never be 100% but 80% is better than 0% and dead. I owe this to you and you alone CT Fletcher. Looking forward to watching u kill it again. I pray for u every day.

It breaks me to see a man like CT breaking down and crying. Yet, at the same time it shows that a TRUE man, is not afraid of letting out tears. A lot of people don’t understand that the advice CT gives isn’t only for the weight room. It can help you in every single area of life. You want something, DON’T give up. Be it school, work, life, family, anything. CT helped me develop an attitude, a mindset to overcome several obstacles in my life. First saw him on KZbin when I was 18. So glad I got to able to know who this man is. He will forever be a symbol of strength, perseverance, and sheer will in my eyes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Mr. Fletcher

I was going through a nasty divorce and custody battle so I quit working out and started feeling sorry for myself. After it was over and I had custody of my kids i felt like I couldn't go to the gym because I had to spend all my time with them. It wasn't until I got up to 315 pounds and my kids started saying something about my gut that I started thinking about it again. But it was a C. T. Fletcher video that reminded me that I work out to be here for them as much as I do it for me. Thank you C. T. Well wishes and prayers from a grateful father from VA

They put me on the heart transplant list, difibulator, and tons of meds, and told me I was going to die.. 2 young daughters, and wife that got hard. I asked to be taken off the list let God do me what he will. I am honest, I gave up. I tried to work out after but got scared. Saw your videos a couple years ago and got back to the gym. The feels man.. Tears fell down my eyes watching this video. CT you motivated me to take that first step into the gym 3 years ago. I live in a broken home and have a dark past similar to yours. With the little bit of money I had I took a gym membership and worked out everyday and kept watching your videos for motivation. I've got awesome results and never felt better at that time. Then I got sick and needed medical treatment. Didn't work out for about 9 months and my hard work slowly faded away and created lots of insecurity and depression. I felt so miserable. I watched some older videos of yours and decided to fight for it and make a change. Been working out again for a couple weeks now and slowly making progress. Because inside of me is a strong will and I can feel my previous self coming back. You even inspired me to be a personal trainer (which I am now) .. I sincerely thank you with all my heart for giving me strength and I can't tell you how grateful I am for your videos of hard work and dedication and the knowledge you've thought me that I will take with me to the grave. CT you sir are my role model and a true legend. I know this is a long ass story and probably no one will take time to read it but I had to get this off my chest.

My femure was broken in half 2 different places theres 2 inches of femure not there anymore just a metal rod holding my leg nub together 3 inches above where the knee used to be. But believe it or not after only 3 weeks in the hospital I was back in the fucking gym working out my upper body with all sitting down exercises. Preacher Curls are my favorite exercise. I took a big hit this year my dad told me to come home and he told me that he wasn’t my biological father and it hurt bad, but now when I train I think about how my father left me and how He didn’t care so I can become something much greater than he is. Thank you CT. Thank you. I watched this and had to tell you what effect you had on my life....i was involved in a serious motorcycle accent in April 2017. my right leg was shattered in 10+ places. My right pelvis was broken in 4 places. 5 right ribs broken and two holes in my right lung from the bust ribs. I was put into a medically induced coma as my brain swelled from the whiplash.I couldn't move at all,for over 2 months i was in intensive care... then 3 months of surgery to try to fix my leg so i could walk again. I lost so much weight and stregnth and i couldn't find the light at the end of the tunnel. I actually wanted to die. I lost all motivation. Every fucking thing was so hard. Things i never fail at? I wouldn't even try. I had nothing left. I just gave up. Then you spoke to me in this vlog....i felt your pain. I felt your hurt. I felt your weaknesses. I felt like there was no point anymore. I had nothing left to give. YOU gave me what i was missing. You showed me that no mountain is going to beat me. I joined to gym even though i couldn't walk without a frame/ crutches....i told myself, CT has shown you a path of mental recovery.... the rest will follow. I now walk without aid. I still limp. Always will due to the right leg being shorter now from the surgeries. Bottom line is this. I will never give in again. I will never believe i can't do it ever again. I will show no mercy to the problems that try to derail me. I pray for you everyday. Thank you CT...Thank you for showing me the light..... i hope you have a blessed day....

CT is my biggest motivator, he’s helped me push myself everyday out of that hospital bed, after going head on with a semi truck last year on January 28th 2017, I’m grateful, blessed to be here, & I remember watching “My Magnificent Obsession” when I was laying there, couldn’t sit up without blacking out and waking up in my own vomit, couldn’t walk without passing out, couldn’t even twist a bottle cap, couldn’t do nothing. But the more I watched CT’s videos, the more I didn’t want to give up, I wanted to try my hardest everyday, whenever they’d come into my room to wake me up after sleepless nights, with only one or even 2 hours of sleep, I’d get up, grab one hand onto that walker and walk as far as I could, with every painful, woozy step, I kept telling myself to keep going, I ain’t done yet... & I’d like to thank CT “muthafuckin” Fletcher for being my motivation throughout that time and still is to this day until forever. I wish I could get the opportunity to train at his gym and meet him, but that’ll be in another life I guess. ISYMFS !!

CT is the most powerful and the most inspirational person on the planet. When ever I don't feel like working out I just remember what CT is going though and that encourages me to get up and do something. CT made me realize that if you want something you gotta get yo ass up and get it. You only got one chance at this thing we call life... unless your CT. Next set is for you🏅💪🏅

I don't typically comment on videos but this is CT. I lost all motivation for everything in life besides drinking for the past 8 years. The last 6 months, which included a DWI, I have been drinking more than I feel like I ever have and thankfully, no one was hurt.. I spent a week sober afterwards and had a moment of clarity. In that moment I rediscovered CT. Your words, passion and actions saved me once, and though I have lost my way for the past 8 years, I have you to thank for my renewed passion for wanting to live. A renewed passion for wanting to lift. And my renewed passion for wanting to grow. I hope someday I'll be able to do for CT what he has done for me. I will grow. Keep on goin CT.

Rumble old man, Rumble! I wish you the best. I hope you have many more years of inspiring others. Most of all, for the love you show your kids, for the father you´ve been to YOUR kids, after the childhood you had. Thats the biggest reason why you deserve to keep being alive to touch and inspire so many people.

I know how you feel. I was Diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis is 2011 and before that I could do anything but not after the diagnosis I have to rely on others for help. It is hard for sure but dang it, I am still alive and breathing. And as long as there is breath in my lungs I am going to fight. I pray the best for you CT. As long as you have breath keep fighting because as long as you are alive there is hope. God Bless!

Man, I am at a complete loss for words, but I can't just watch this and say nothing. Mr. CT Fletcher, Superman. You are more than an inspiration. Your story is life giving. I only started following you just over a year now. I'm a Open Heart surgery survivor of 4 years now and everyday was a struggle to at least get to where I am now. Things were not perfect and life dealt me many blows to follow. Thank you for what you do and have done. I can only pray that God will allow me to encourage and inspire as you Sir do so graciously. God bless you and continued success throughout your recovery. #SupermanIsASuperBlessings

Wow I haven't listened to CT in quite some time. Because I realized that the motivation is inside each and every one of us. I just happened to be in the gym today and decided to look up his channel again and found this. It's a sad story but his heart is telling him he can't which is just going to make him more determined to show it he can. God speed to this motivational man and I hope and pray the best for him and his family.

I been through a heart transplant, you are the man who got me to quit making excuses for myself and hit the gym afterwards, if I can get through it, you will kick it in the ass ten fold. It tears me apart to see other people go through what I been through, it is a scary time but with a good support system (which you clearly have not only within your family, but here as well) and the dedication to get better again, you will make it. Once you get that new heart you will come back stronger than ever before. Look at death in its ugly face and then proceed to knock its dick in the dirt (btw my heart was at a 6 percent functioning rate)

Your #1 job right now CT is staying healthy and staying alive. Don't worry about the comeback, don't worry about the gym. ISYMFS, and that set is life right now. Keep repping it out until you get that heart transplant. When you get that transplant and you feel good again, you can come back to the gym. Keep fighting brother, you got this! I believe in you!

Once a man and twice a child. If we are all fortunate to live long enough that is the road we all take. I'm glad in spite of setbacks he still was able to find options and possibilities through positive impacts on others, and helping inspire others to meet their goals. In the end those are the only things that last or mean anything, it's also how you continue to live on, through the good memories others have of you. He didn't mention it here, but I also think he is still the frail scared kid that he spent his whole life running from. I hope he grabs that kid one day and embraces him and everything that little scared kid went through. That's a peace missing from his life

George Kendal Dude he needs to take care of his health. His heart just isn’t circulating enough oxygen to meet the demands of exercise. He will only cause more permanent damage. It’s basic supply and demand, and his heart is only 25% functioning. His legacy is already in stone. I’m a huge fan, but I just don’t want to see him kill himself to please other people. I hope he follows his doctors advice this time around... Respect.
