Davy a wonderful video how brave were the men and woman in Easter 1916. I want to tell you somethings about myself. I am a Scottish Protestant and i was a member of the Orange Lodge when i was young. I was brought to Orange walks, Rangers games and my head was full of nonsense about the Empire and how great and Noble it was. Then i started to realise the truth about Ireland by reading about the Plantation, the Famine 1798 etc. I am 68 now i am a Scottish Nationalist and support 100% a United Ireland and i am a Kilmarnock supporter now NOT Rangers your work in your channel is excellent and look for all your new videos. Best of luck from Alba to the Emerald Island.

As an Englishman, I am very moved to hear the last eloquent words of those brave Irish heros. Weakness invites the opportunist, and Ireland has invited many of late. Ireland, your heros faced the firing squad for you. Don't be bought by temporary affluence , and the false promise of more. You are being fooled. You are no more self governing now, than you were during British rule but you are in much greater peril. Do not dishonour your heros who willingly died for your liberty.

These final testaments of the heroes of The 1916 Rising put our current government to shame, and, all of those who have sold out our national sovereignty, culture and moral compass to worse ( The EU ) than they fought against in 1916, which was then The British Empire.

Yet the world thinks the sun shines out of the brits arses… a lot of the island of Ireland follows British sport and supports their economy. I don’t see other countries having marches to get the British out of Northern Ireland but we have had 10 marches in Dublin recently about Palestine and Israel. We had 800 yrs and not one euro country or further a field apart from America helped the Irish. We are still wanting freedom but the world loves “Great Britain” yet they still won’t give the north back.

For me, an American, learning the history of Ireland has opened my eyes to the effects of British oppression on Ireland and the good Irish people. My opinion of the Brits has reverted to America in our colonial period when we too 'served the crown' and had to drive them out! God Save Ireland!!!

Taught u would of done a video on the day of bobby Sands anniversary Davie and don't forget his generation got the British forces to leave/out. All the revolutionary heroes are legends but I personally think PROVO'S time was most effective proud of them all from Fenian to dissident.

True men who lived and died by their beliefs and values. The British Empire was and is a horrible experiment that enslaved millions for profit....it's shameful they remain in the six counties....it's also shameful to see Ireland bow before the EU and become overrun by non Irish people ....

You say now look what they died for, did the world not hear about the invasion of Ireland by the brithsh, what exactly are they doin, or are you and the our person just pissing & moaning because your country is changing because you're still free from Britain and that's what those brave men that wrote those letters were fighting for, so you two drip-shits could make stupid comments about a great video about your countries HEROES

They died for freedom, that freedom is being lost to banks, corporations, the rich, all across the globe. So now it is everyone's fight. To claim back our lands and our work and our planet and our hope. The fight is always real.
