How to open anti-theft alpha bottle lock

This worked. I took 2 computer hard drive magnets and sat them on top of the bottle until I heard a click. Then I took a pair of needle nose pliers and placed it into the holes on top and then turned the pliers slowly with one hand while pushing up on the bottle lock with my other hand. Worked like a champ!

To Shannon. No, I just got home from Kroger's and when it beeped the self cashier chick said "your good" meaning I was old enough. Then I just threw them in a bag not knowing they had those things on. I walked out the door and the door alarm went off, and again she's like "your good". We both didn't realize that the security things were on them. So it happened to me. I don't' think anyone is trying to teach someone how to steal them. BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO ME! Just saying. I'm not really mad. I thought it might have been the little tags on charcoal lighter I bought, because some of those little security things are disposable types. They go out the door with the product, but just trigger the alarm, in case someone is underage or something.

@@nanamush1017 Squeeze it and try to bend it toward the sides and pull upward all at once. It'll sound like the seal of a water bottle breaking just keep working it around in a circle and pulling up on it til it's free. They pop right off for me.
