Seen STD in every iteration since TBC.. Rodrigo can mimic both Eben and Manny on bass perfectly, and that impresses the hell out of me. Plus the shit he wrote on Daylight and after is awesome. Saves The Day have always had phenomenal bass players.

Todavia no puedo entender como en un principio no me gustaba su voz actual (porque comenze escuchando Stay What You Are). Me termine convenciendo de a poco que su nueva voz es mucho mejor que la anterior... esta banda realmente te hace sentir muchas cosas.

The mixing on this is really bad but I think if he had just a tiny little amount of reverb this wouldn't have the amount of hate it has

He's singing completely through his nose in this video... He wasn't singing this nasally before..idk why he would choose to do that. I really like his voice when he sings normally.
@emodro10 жыл бұрын
When in reverie came out he apparently changed the way he sings because he was constantly losing his voice, it's also a big reason why that album didn't do very well because his voice completely changes. He explains it in an interview with Andy Hull. Hull: Did you ever intentionally start singing differently? Conley: I never chose to. It was just finding my voice over the years. In the beginning, I felt so urgent inside my skin. The vocals just exploded out of my throat. Then you take those songs on tour and realize you can sing some of it. It's just the process of figuring out what's a comfortable way to put the same amount of emotion behind the lyrics and also maintain my vocal chords. It took years and years to bring that together and have the same amount of urgency and be thinking about the lyrics. Hull: It's record to record, and that's what is cool to me about it. Conley: It's weird for me when listening to the stuff and it sounds like a different singer on every album. No, there was a never a moment when I was listening to the stuff and said, "Oh, I want to sing like this way." It was finding my way.
