About a fourth of the way through, but I'm very excited to watch this. I saw your post on the Facebook group and clicked as fast as I could. It's definitely a fun system, and hopefully it can get more content and support from the community as time goes on.

Appreciate you checking it out! I really like the system and think it fits everything my group and I want in a game like this. Definitely hoping a more competent company can get the rights to it so more content can be produced. Would love to see campaign supplements and race/class/skill expansions.

​@Kiratze Oh most definitely. I'd love for the game to get expansion content. I recall one of the original designers had pitched the idea of module expansions, where you'd get a campaign to play, including new regions, enemies, scenarios, etc. It'd also come with all the enemy minis and some terrain, so you could feasible play right out of the box. If another company could get the rights and expand the game like that, I think it'd be pretty successful. I'm not opposed to the classic, purely book expansion either but one can dream.

Lasting tales is a great alternative to Rangers of Shadow deep though I fear with how Blacklist game has been with KS I fear Lasting Tales maybe dead on arrival... As it is you can't even get a hardcopy of the rule book. I really do want to see this game grow like Rangers of Shadow deep (which has many expansions at this point) , more classes, more abilities, leveling up further etc.. The game is solid and I really do hope that some other company will pick up this game.

You mentioned having your Lasting Tales PDF printed as a book. How or where do you go about that? Thanks!

Staples! Put in an online order to have it printed then it took about a week before I could just pick it up at the store. You can customize what kind of binding and everything on it. I did it in Black and White because doing it all in colour was super expensive.

Had the same issues with Rangers of Shadow Deep. It was my intro to solo tabletop skirmish games. Loved the idea, but couldn't help feeling that there just wasn't enough depth to the character / team building, and the combat system left me wanting more tactical choices then just engage and try to roll higher on a d20. I really loved the look of Lasting Tales, and I felt like it scratched that itch a lot more. Super sad that BLG botched the kickstarter which basically drove away any potential publisher / designer support for the system. Have you tried Five Leagues from the Borderlands 3rd edition? If so, what do you think?

Yah Rangers is a fantastic entry point into the genre but definitely isn't deep enough for myself and my friends! As for Five Leagues, I was actually going to get that one before I discovered LT. The campaign system looks really fun but I don't really like how the combat looks. Seems tedious with multiple "exchanges" per attack and having to micro manage movement with each exchange. Seems also quite swingy like Rangers with some people getting one shot right out of the gate. It looks like it's designed more to be played solo rather than Lasting Tales which is built with co-op in mind. Especially with how easily you could get removed from combat, I'd hate to have a friend play and they get downed first thing. I might end up porting some of the random tables and campaign rules from Five Leagues into Lasting Tales though.

@@Kiratze Agreed. I love the campaign stuff in 5L, but I'm really not a fan of the tabletop battles. It's designed to be quick and punchy, but also falls to the, charge up to enemy and hope I roll higher issue. Lasting Tales is by far the best on the table, but I'm just a little let down by it's campaign elements. Also, there are some balancing issues in Lasting Tales too. Some choices for gear are just completely useless. (Looking at you staff)

I think a rules review and separate game videos would have been better. I had never heard of this game, but it looks interesting. More involved than Sell Swords and Spell Slingers and on par with Five Leagues from the Borderland
