While going into the Service soon, when I need to get a vehicle again, a Toyota Tacoma is exactly what I want. I've seen a few of your videos and I love everything on how you build yours and why. I might have some slight differences to my dream Tacoma, but yours is a HUGE inspiration to that dream. Thank you so much man!

I bought my 3rd Tacoma here recently it’s not new but a 2004 access cab an old man owned with 46000 miles on it. I plan on upgrading it little at a time until I have a good overlanding rig. In the meantime I enjoy just driving it.

Cool Video, great info. Living vicariously through these overlander vids. A story about dogs... My son, when he was 7 came down with a really challenging awful condition that required 2 really major surgeries. My wife and I got the new about this about a week before Christmas. We got a golden retriever puppy to cheer everyone up and my son wanted to name him Atreyu. I had no idea about that character and though my boy was saying Trail. So our dog was Trail. That was about 26 years ago. Trail helped my son recover and became the best dog ever. Anyway, great name for a dog for sure.

For the solar panel vibration, you could create your own vibration reducing rubber gasket mixed with some anti vibration bolt setup. That could help quite them down. I do really like the idea of the solar panels up there. Nice job.

Can you please do a video of the wiring? Perhaps you could do this on your Land Cruiser - showing how to wire up a second battery, the fuse block and then accessories off the block. That would be super useful! No one else on KZbin has done something clear and simple.

Solid rig man! You'll only get more respect from me with a dirty truck!Personally I'm always a little wary of advice from a guy with a sparkly clean truck. Especially if hes giving me advice about truck stuff. However my ears are always open to advice from a Fella or Sheila with a dirty truck that's got some custom DIY done to it. I know those kinda peeps know there way around a truck and what can be done with a truck. I never wash my truck for fashion but I might wash it once in a while for function. However I usually dont even have to do that because mother nature generally does it for me. No better wash then driving through a rainstorm at 65 miles an hour on the highway. Cleans the undercarriage and all the little nooks and crannies one usually has a hard time getting when washing the vehicle themselves.

At first glance, I was like "ok, a Tacoma set up for camping. Cool, looks good." I had no idea how much you had into it. Wow. The one idea I might adopt if I find the motivation is the under-hood storage. My Sierra has an empty second battery tray, so it is just begging for a nice weather-sealed storage box.

Thanks for sharing, subscribed and liked, new to your channel. Recently purchased a 2006 Tundra Double Cab 4x4 with cap, don't like the bulky new models at all. CalmJC Yea they aren’t very soft and I sweat a lot when I sit in them. I personally think that Toyota has had the best cloth seats for the last 25 years. The cloth seats in my 02 270,xxx 4Runner are still more comfortable and they are easy to clean, despite being 18 years old
