for eg agar ek current downward aaya and ek upward aaya toh kya resultant current nikalne mai substraction hoga? i1(down) i2(up) I=i1-i2 or i1+i2??

Yes dn it will be subtraction ..if I1 is large than I1-I2 , current direction towards I1 and in other hand if I2 large than I2-I1 and current direction towards I2
