My friend told me about this game like 4 or 5 years ago and i never even checked it out, it dropped on game pass the other day so i checked it out and now i own the ultimate edition. This has to be THE most creative survival experience I have had. I'll play just about any survival sandbox game once but I feel like I'll spend over 2k hours in this game. I know I just scratched the surface so far but watchinf all of this content is inspiring AF. The different building styles and attention to detail and function is just amazing.

I had the same experience as you a couple years back... I've sunk 3000+ hours into this game... much to the annoyance of my wife.

Ya'll are amazing builders and I get a lot of my inspiration for creations in my world(especially bases) from Aaron's tours of your builds, also thank you Aaron for showing off the amazing builds from the server.

I dont care what season its is, i will ALWAYS build a tank. The exact second i knew we were having events on planets i specifically designed a landing craft and tank to partake. You werent kidding, absolute next level buikds this season. Very inspiring!

Im quite new to the game and server-hosting. How does one make a server handle all this without getting Scene too complex, clang and other stuff that eats up resources? Running on good hardware aside, utilizing Torch, essentials for cleanup and conceal to offload resources that are not utilized - what are the tips and tricks for this? Im really envious

Keep it vanilla and impose harsh restrictions om blocks that are performance intensive. I would recommend trying to join the server and learning by doing. The builds you see showcased become even more impressive when you realize the restrictions people are working around.
