Hobby Lobby is the biggest hypocrite! They claim to have "Christian" values but they force their workers to endure life threatening conditions. I regularly see Hobby Lobby workers balancing at the top of a 20 foot ladder, trying to place HEAVY inventory items on a high shelf. If they fell from that height, it would cause serious injury or even death. Hobby Lobby also humiliates the women who labor there, by surveillance of their every move. Its like working at a prison camp. They also buy their inventory from manufacturers who use child labor, in inhumane conditions.

They say they are followers of this man who preached love, tolerance, generosity, and kindness. They display "Christian" books and play religious music in their stores. Yet they treat their employees in the exact opposite way, with meaness and disrespect. It's almost mindblowing. I reported them to OSHA and OSHA wrote them a non compliance letter. But Hobyy Lobby's legal department responded by denying the charges even though I submitted pictures of an employee balanced at the top of a 20 foot ladder with no safety handles.

“Why are you gay?” Is one of the funniest questions ever because it demands an answer that doesn’t really exist. Maybe someday in the distant future the genetic and environmental factors that contribute to attraction will be totally knowable but for now it’s like…”when I was 12 years old I saw an ad for paper towels online with the most beautiful model lady I had ever seen. Now I’m a lesbian. The paper towel goddess willed it.”
@BeeLZBeeb3 ай бұрын
I'd respond every time with "why are you heterosexual?"
@elfiot3 ай бұрын
@@BeeLZBeeb they might be all “someone has to do it or we’d go extinct”. Which kinda makes sense. The only evolutionary theory I’ve heard for why so many humans are gay is that historically if straights needed someone to take in their kids because they were busy or dead, their gay cousin would probably do it since they didn’t have their own kids to worry about feeding. I have no idea if that’s valid, but I can definitely imagine myself as a spinster aunt type adopting medieval orphans and such 500 years ago.
@mechengr173126 күн бұрын
That's the best line ever to that question. If someone ever asks you, just give that answer and walk away 😂😂😂
@elfiot26 күн бұрын
@@mechengr1731 lol yeah I actually did a deep dive into the research a few years back and it hints that something gets activated in the womb* to determine if you’re going to grow up to be gay or not. Female fetuses that are exposed to high amounts of testosterone, are more likely to grow up to be lesbians than the typical fetus. Meanwhile, male fetuses whose mother has already given birth to multiple sons are more likely to grow up to be gay than the typical fetus. But those are just correlations not strict predictions. The only guess of why human fetuses would have a trigger to become gay is that gay adoption is part of our species’s survival plan. If straights die off fighting mammoths or something, someone has gotta raise their kids, and their straight relatives might already have more kids than they know what to do with. *We actually have a variety of control genes that can be activated like that. If a woman experiences starvation and then recovers and has a child, her child will often have an abnormally slow metabolism to prevent them from dying in the next famine. (In the 21st century that response can do more harm than good by raising the child’s risk of obesity and obesity related health issues, but for most of human history, that kind of quick adaptation was literally lifesaving)

It's even more depressing than that, as we have not changed AT ALL since the 1800s. We still have slavery today, and in fact there is more slaves today than there was even the civil war started. Look up the documentary 13th We still have corporate rule. We still have racism. We still have many things. We also still have a class system. Over 60% of those both into poverty remain in poverty until they die. And about 40% of people will go DOWN a class on their lifetime. The only difference is that people are living longer. And even then, in the past the life expectancy rage was low due to how many died as a child or giving birth.
