@@alhaitham9798 If are going to look like that, then there are a ton of other songs that could have made the list. For me, however the most notable omissions are 'Aayega aanewala' from 1949 and 'Yaara Sili sili' from 1990. The songs replacing these 2 iconic songs in these years make zero sense.

@@mannybudhu3905Hinduism believes in reincarnation. It says that the cycle of birth and death are governed by the Karma of individuals. The deceased individual would take another birth based upon the Karma of his previous life. His/her soul starts searching for another body. So there is no rest and hence, the concept of RIP is not valid in Hinduism. But in my point of view, everyone is not aware about Sadgati fact and rest in peace ......and basically what they said was the Sanskrit/hindi translation of rest in peace. Like what we said in hindi on shanti as it is in English we said rest in peace. It's not about hindu, muslim, Christian ig. It's about the same thing vary from language to language. So, it's okay. It is more important that someone well wished for her after life and wrote a beautiful comment for Lata tai. The most important thing is we lost her. Don't stretch out little things. It is not necessary that if you believe something or if you are known to something, everyone knows about it. Each and every individuals have their own perspectives and thinking style. Sometimes just take a little pause and let it go. Because in India we have many languages. And english is one of our language which we used mostly in today's date. Don't mind about little things. We are different from culture, language, and thoughts but all indian's heart overwhelmed and all our feelings are same when there is something we loss. And this time we lost our nightingale . Om shanti.
