So should you always install marble with epoxy thinset to avoid stains coming through or can you use other thinset
@Pri791114 ай бұрын
Hey man great video. Question,do you need epoxy thinset only to install marble or other stone or can you use other thinsets? Trying to avoid any blotchy spots. Whats your process when installing stone in shower area

I like to use prolite thinset its really good for stone and specially shower tiles including shower floors its has very little to non sand which would help prevent blotchy spots, its a non sag thinet so helps all the way around

@@Pri79111 yes that could definitely happen to avoid that you have to do 6 side sealing prior to installing. That sucks yes its happen before.

So did you then grout over the tile with the epoxy or not do any grout at all? Sorry if that's a stupid question.

Do you seal the tile before setting in epoxy thinset?
@egformula7 ай бұрын
Not necessarily, do you mean if I seal tile because what if I stain the surface of tile with epoxy? If so no I use the E|G Formula to clean it if does happen to touches the surface of tile. Thanks for the comments
