I started going down the rabbit hole of history hoping for a quick review of the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Thanks to Thersites the Historian, I'm going backwards to the Greek city states, the Peloponnesian War and the subsequent Corinthian War. Great video! 👍🏻

You're very clear in the details in your videos and they clarify a lot of confusion for me. Thank you for highlighting that Philip II and his followers did more to spread Greek influence to the rest of the world than all the other Greeks. Very interesting history. Thank you

Great video. Just wanted to mention a small error at the end where you say Philip was assassinated at his own wedding when I'm sure you meant the wedding of his daughter, Cleopatra to Alexander of Epiros.

Why? It's just a differentiation that doesn't change anything but a name, it's preference. Doesn't make anyone's work less credible. Anyways, I use the M41.999 System
@andre_santos21812 жыл бұрын
@@theemperorschosen7607 Because it is just the context to wipe out Christi from our World. You must be very naive to consider it is just “reference”
@theemperorschosen76072 жыл бұрын
@@andre_santos2181 Christianity isn't the only faith in the world. For example, why don't we use BST? OR AST? Before and After second temple for Jews? We've been around longer then Christianity after it. Both are suitable academic terms and shouldn't be bitched about cause they use it if the rest of the information provided is fine
@andre_santos21812 жыл бұрын
@@theemperorschosen7607 You are saying BS. It is clear “Common” is just to hide “Christ”, since the counting is the same. He hide what we hate and the World hates Christ. Common Era of what? The name that cannot be said. If the counting were different, no problem using After Nero or After Scipio Mother. I use AUC for Early Rome, and after the Hegira for Muslin Conquests. It would be risble to say Battle of Lake Regilus happened on 257 of “Common Era” for Romans. Just say Ad Urbe Condita, Rome is Rome, like or not.. So, on yor rant you admittec it is really to gloss over Christ. I rest my case.
