Join me and my family as we head out on a late fall canoe trip in Noganosh Lake Provincial Park. Highlights: Dutch oven cornbread, lots of Bass fishing action, Uncle Doug dancing and beautiful rocky shorelines.
This was our first family canoe trip in Noganosh Lake Provincial Park and we enjoyed spending 4 days exploring this area during the late fall with no one else around. We slowed down on this canoe trip and travelled a modest distance. We enjoyed the warm weather of late fall, family times around the campfire and spending lots of time fishing.

As an unofficial member of the Uncle Doug Fan Club, it was great to see him on this trip. His antics did not disappoint 😆

Hey Jack, that must have been a nice time of year to visit the area. There isn't too many campsites on Smokey Lake, it looked like that spot might have been the nicest. We enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🙂

Looked like great weather for late October Alec, glad you guys took advantage of it. That canoe launch attempt over the beaver dam was pretty amusing, inches away from success, but failure averted! Keep adventuring.

Yes it was! We lucked out with the weather. Last year that same weekend it went down to -10 one night. So much warmer this year. Thanks for watching Ian!

Great crew, great vid, always love to see Noganosh again... gotten pretty busy by the sounds of it but perfect for shoulder season. Canoe launch over the dam was amazing. I swear that dam used to be doubly high

Hey Jon, ya I have heard that too, probably want to avoid the summer months but there was no one else out at the end of October. Haha I couldn't believe they tried to send it over the dam either 😆 Thanks for checking out the video!
