Twenty years ago, when I was riding drift the Mazda FC3S in Japan, the 180SX (US name:240SX/SR20DET) was the mainstream. It's amazing how the CA18DET runs the Nordschleife so fast. The garrett turbo and cam engine are very responsive. Please be careful when driving.

Man, the CA18DET is always so overlooked next to the SR but goddamn it sounds good for a 4cyl and it's a tank. Sounds like a baby RB rather than a tractor engine hehheh. If I was given an S15 with no engine but I could have an SR to go in it, I'd probably wanna put a CA in it instead as far as 4cyls go

Beautiful driving. In my 4 years of driving I always though you need to be at maximum possible RPM to be faster, and having a low HP car didn't help with that... Even with quickshifting, heel/toe downshifting I could not go any faster. With the help of a friend I learned to short shift and settle the car down a bit, I immediately became ~30% faster. I now make fun of faster cars using pure skill, and I kinda drive like you. I just hope i swap my 115hp mk1 Focus with a faster car soon, it's getting boring 😂
