All the music they had heard, composed, played, and all their collective talents and skills, culminated to this moment. This performance is infinity in 4 minutes.

It simply cannot be any time-lag between the brain-neurons and the arms of Steve Gadd. Can you grasp how complex that drumming really is?

I think I can … besides He’s playing with 4 drumsticks!

This is the clearest expression of the function of the musicians. Enjoy and give all the love to the audience, what a wonder to see Richard Tee, Steve Gadd, Eric Gale, Paul Simon and the rest together in this conjunction of purpose of honest artists

@thetrevorosborne - I was probably at the same gig as you, and still have the newspaper review from the next day. The other noticeable thing about that gig, was the sound. The best sound at a rock gig I've ever heard.

That Mozambique Gadd is playing...once you learn it, you can't stop playing it. He makes it look as simple as breathing...it isn't. Even better than 50 Ways...

This is one of my all time favorite bands. All great musicians. Aside from Paul's music, I recommend these cats on the work they did on Stuff, not to mention countless session work. Question: is that Tony Levin's brother on keyboards?
