Late January 2025

I spent some time spent this January on Squalicum Beach. Squalicum Beach is best walked at low tide. I also spent time on both the Hertz and Chanterelle Trails in Whatcom County. The Hertz Trail now connects to Chanterelle Trail which allows you to hike almost to the top of Mt. Stewart up newly crafted switchbacks and stairs. The entire Hertz/Chanterelle loop back to the Parking Lot 2 is well over 32K steps! And it was a great day!
