I served with Captain Z-Ro from 2148 to 2987,then again from 3321 to 3654.Boy was that guy a jerk with his poncy little stache. He cared more about "Roger" than any of us humans. When Roger run amuck after the Venusian bombardment of 2727 and killed of ALL the enlisted men,Z-Ro said it was their fault and they deserved to be discombobulated in time and space.Well he was my superior officer but I still told him off. That kept me grounded for several years but o well.He really was a jerk.

I know, right! Captain Z-Ro (or as we call him in Australia, Captain Zed-Ro) was the sort of jerk who puts young boys in the path of a malfunctioning robot and tells them that everything will be ok. And then he even allows said boy to "shake hands" with the dodgy hand-crushing mechanoid. What a jerk!

@@davidhynd4435His secret base was constructed right next to an active volcano, in an area with no emergency services (and clearly no OSHA), and with few people when aware of its location in an emergency, so it goes without saying that safety is not a priority for the man. There's so much more going on in this video than is immediately apparent. Every single thing he does is a huge red flag regarding AI safety. I've never met Captain Z-Ro, but the timeline where I grew up he was reviled as the man who started the Great Robot Uprising and brought about the downfall of humanity. Roger and his robot army were slaughtering tens of millions of people every day, and Z-Ro's response when begged for help was to make them even stronger, give them sharper pincers, or to add extra arms with buzzsaws and death rays. Only a handful of us escaped before Z-Ro annihilated our entire timeline through a causality villain, because he's just as careless with time travel as he is with robots. By the way, in this video he's either unaware or doesn't care that his plucky sidekick is clearly an alien spy. As soon as the kid said "it's almost human!" any Space Ranger worth their salt would've immediately taken him down with an electro-ray gun!

Who the hell builds a nearly indestructible robot, makes him stronger than 20 men, maps it self-aware, and then gives it full autonomy 5 minutes after powering it up? Captain Z-Ro, the Destroyer of Humanity!
