May I suggest you try to improvise over the goldberg bassline in a video?

I enjoy so much watching your videos, because I do the same thing like you. I improvise baroque music and I also think intensively, how to improvise and what is more important, harmony or melody. I also think, that building and developing melody is more important and hard. I always think about melody, when I improvise. I have the same thoughts like you. One thing, that helped me, was to play the melody only in one voice with one hand and sing it at the same time. It develops building melody. Of course I know the basics, how to build the melody typically in Baroque. But I stil studying Bach's music, to find patterns in his melodies. Can you improvise on the theme of 'die Kunst der Fuge"? I already tried :))))

I have never heard anyone improvise baroque music as well as Borogrove, have you? I heard some great organists in Vienna that got kind of close but none at this level.

Your live mic signal has an unusually high noise floor. If there's no shower running behind that wall or anything, check out your signal chain for any issues, and remember that very poor quality cheap mics can have that issue. (I have a $15 mic for talkback and it is shockingly bad.) Also, regarding virtual piano sampler instruments, if you find the response curve isn't to your liking, you ought to check your hardware MIDI controller's velocity curve settings first, and secondly also any such settings within Kontakt itself. What you describe (insufficient sensitivity at low key pressure) is common and can usually be addressed that way.

Strangely the noise stopped about 30m into the video. So perhaps just a connection or cabling issue?

Quel type de piano utilises-tu? On dirait un clavier à toucher semi-lesté et tu sembles pouvoir en sortir des sons de clavecin, piano etc. Est-ce que c'est numérique ? Merci.

I thought you stayed in F major just the right amount of time! I wasn't ready to go back. Please change the color of your super cool keyboard keys on-state so we can see the keys better, especially black keys!
