This has everything I want to see in an SNL sketch. Everything I want to see, period. This is the best way to start the day. This was my favorite time ever, Late Night with David Letterman was my favorite TV show, Joe Piscopo was absolutely hilarious, Eddie Murphy was brilliant, all of it, just all of it. They really captured the spirit of Dave and his show, when they were edgy and self deprecating and snarky before snark existed. I wish there were a thousand more of these spoofs of Late Night...

@@ms-iz9ye he is so representative of that late 70s early 80s SNL experimental vibe. In isnt straight obvious sketch stuff as today, more like Kids in the Hall or Monty Python. @@TheNYCGoldenGlover very interesting take.. I respect your comment because you make valid points and references to other shows👏👏🔥🔥 but in my opinion if you have to reference other tv shows to justify his credibility as to being funny on the show alone I don’t see it. I’ll watch more of this era of SNL and him sketch wise but he’s just not doing it for me let alone having to get his sense of humor to appreciate him more so. And I agree the last 15 years of SNL has been terrible but Kate McKinnon holds the golden standard of what it used to be. But that’s one in many.

@@fourscoreand9884 It was simply no big deal to begin with. Apparently you’ve never been guilty of spelling errors and although Norm MACDONALD was a fine comedian, I’m sure the jury is still out as to who the greatest was, even among SNL alumni. I myself never suggested Macdonald wasn’t good whatsoever at impressions, just that Joe Piscopo’s was better in this instance. What’s more, I also observed that Macdonald was a superior comedian to the latter, so any criticism of him was mild at best.
