In almost every such case when a drug addicted person or a peddler is caught red-handed, we often use to see the videography/photographs of the seizure and the seizure list as well these days. However, in this particular case no such video clips or photos are shown as a supporting evidence. It really smells fishy in the act. Was there not even a mobile kept with them at the time? Even when youth volunteers in some villages could have photo/ video clips over their seizure as evidence how could such a big and strong social worker/ organization like WASE not have any clips? They cannot simply allege anyone to be a drug addicted just on the basis of an empty tobacco container found lying on the ground and put someone mercilessly to a rehab centre where a poor soul met his fate. Even if he is found drug- addicted, he cannot be given a fatal torture or punishment. So unfortunate...
