I am like you and have super long / irregular periods. I got off birth control last October and have since had fluctuating periods that arrive anywhere from 4.5-5.5 weeks between each. I’m currently three weeks late as my last period was at the end of May. I can’t get a positive test and my OBGYN can’t see me until the end of August. I’m not having any strong symptoms and feel normal for the most part. Do you have any advice? Do you think I just skipped a period? We’ve been trying for 9 months, so I really hope this is it!

I just got off the pill a few months ago, but if I’m still on the 28 day cycle, I should have gotten my period Wednesday. So I’m 3 days late. I tested yesterday morning, and it was negative… but on Wednesday I did experience a little spotting, that looked like implantation bleeding… it’s so confusing I just want to know one way or the other!

My period is irregular as can be i mean longer i did see pink spot early Sept 2023 than i was sick extremely cramping on 09/09/23 i saw another brown spot i was feeling pain and cramping on my abdominal sept and october i did test so many times all are negative except one home test which showed up positive November 30 i did blood and urine test both were negative there is little bump on my lower abdominal i have nausea fatigea and food craving i have ultrasound appointment on january 2024 i am so confuse i did huge mistake that i share my positive test my husband, friends and family now i don’t know what to say i feel shame

Don’t stress about what everyone else thinks. If the positive result you got doesn’t turn into a pregnancy that is a very common occurrence, and you’re not alone. Best of luck!

I have a regular period but if you don’t mind spending the money the Clear blue opk tests are nice. I like the purple more than the pink (more fertile days for baby dancing instead of only peak. I know you didn’t ask me but

Yes you can get ovulation strips on Amazon. They are pretty cheap! You can also track your cycle which helps you plan for the days you are most fertile. Good luck!

@@h8100 Very very late! I was about 38 dpo, and 28 days late I think. Hormones are so confusing. My aunt even had to take medication because her HCG Levels weren't high enough

irregular cycle usually a max of 43 days.. last cycle in Sept of this year was 37 days. LMP was Sept 20 (making me "7 weeks pregnant", blood test came back today as 2-3 weeks? did i ovulate late? Took urine test on Oct 27, 2023, negative. 1 week later Nov 4, 2023 i get my positive. Hello how are you I'm very confused right now because my last period was on May 26th- 31 and the for June I only had light brown spotting enough for a panty liner had that on june 23 ,26,27 I'm having symptoms but negative tests currently on CD 53 I'm kinda getting frustrated because idk what it can be I haven't been this late in a long time . My cycles are anywhere from 31 -35 days. I had a peak on June 17 and then again on the 2nd of July the day of my expected period . I had alot of cramping and have been off n on. How do you calculate pregnancy correctly if you ovulate late?

If you become pregnant your ob will go off of the 8 week scan (or scan around that Time period) to estimate due date.

You can buy ovulation strips to help you pinpoint what day of your cycle you are ovulating. If you have sex on or around that time, then you can expect a positive pregnancy test 14 days after that ovulation date. (Hcg won’t begin until 6-12 days after that ovulation date, once the fertilized egg has had time to implant into the uterus) If you are already getting close to or late on a period from a cycle that you SUSPECT (but don’t have confirmation) that you ovulated late, and you are curious if you are pregnant but still getting negatives….then keep testing either until you start your period or up to a week AFTER your expected period date and then go to a doctor for a blood test.

@@jerlynsailevlog3125 Hi 👋 Sorry to hear that 😔 Update: I went to my doctor when I was 15 days late and she suggested to wait to wait 3 months and since I have no abnormal pain , no bleeding she said that no need to rush the period with medication and give it a time , if after 3 months still no period only then she can check through ultrasound and then start a therapy. So , today is 29th day of my missed period 😞

Yes you can ovulate one day before a miss period . After it can take 5-9 days to implement the eggs inside mom. Resulting into you texting to early and wonder why your eight weeks or baby coming before the due date ..

Your very was very informative compared to the others . A little about me I have a normal cycle . According to “ FLO”, my last cycle day was 24. Last period 4/14 started around 5pm. Normal it starts early morning . Period ended- 19-20th if we count a full day . Baby danced 4/30- 5/5 and 5/11 I’m usually cycle day 28… Bank non subject . Fast forward cycle day 37 I notice spotting and it last three days . I was hoping it was a period but it wasn’t just looked like the last two days of a cycle . I last five days when I bleed and bleed heavy the first three days .. The night before I felt the e implantation happening . Along with my left breast feeling like someone squeeze milk into it and shortly the right breast had the same mirroring affect . I test yesterday night cycle day 41 negative . I never been 13days late but months are shorter I guess and it is normal I research to be a week late or your cycle simply changing . I’m into astrology so the eclipse can play a role as well but I keep getting signs I’m having identical twins etc .
