Late Season Deer Hunting | Maine 2022

Here is the footage from the last two days of rifle season 2022 in Maine. I stayed at camp on Moosehead Lake for the last week of the season and tracked deer every day. No bucks down but I got close. I was hunting between Rockwood and Jackman on old snow. It's so much fun to follow deer and learn about their life. My goal for 2023 is to shoot my first 200 pound buck.

The learning process!! How exciting. Makes me think of how many times I’ve done this before. I am not able to do it anymore. 76 and counting. Still hunting but mostly sitting 😀. Still out there enjoying Gods creation !

Oh how remember those beautiful younger years. This year, 2023, will be my 43rd consecutive year of "never missing" opening day of Whitetail deer season here in Michigan. Keep up the enthusiasm...you have a lot of memories ahead of you! God bless and Enjoy life!

Nice video, thanks for sharing. Wish I had learned more about tracking bucks when I was a bit younger. 64 now, no doe tag this year so I may give it a whirl in the big country.
