Sing it baby, sing it!! You need someone who can get happy about elk poo like you do. Now that is a special lady. Our garden got off to a great start, then poof, it just didn't do too much. Although, we had plenty of sweet corn, melons, potatoes, and squashes. The tomatoes didn't do well. The heat took them. Then again, we tried growing in the ground this year. We are going to go back to container gardening for next Spring, with the exceptions of corn, potatoes, melons and winter squash. Everything else will be in containers. Even carrots. What a beautiful bounty. I'm sing along with for you, although my daughter highly objects to my singing.

I have no shame in the game lol, I sing all the time!! It's funny at markets as people comment on it all the time. Shows I'm having fun and that's more than half the battle. I will find a true partner, this I know to be true. Someone that is into the farm lifestyle, someone that can share in the work and the laughs, someone that can put up with me and all my downfalls....a partner is whaat I see in my mind. Shame about your garden, switch back to what worked for you!! Lol, daughters can be a tough audience!!!

I just love this video. I love everything that shows hard work, sweat and dirt. Oh my goodness, Ryan .. so many great vegetables and great beds. I can not name everything, but I must say that the spinach in the greenhouse took first place. In the market garden (like your customers), I was impressed by the green onions. Celeriac is hard to get big, so you must have done something right there. The rutabaga (swede) needs a little frost to get really good. I have some large specimens waiting for frost in my garden. When I see your beds that are almost free of weeds, I understand that you and your daughter have had many hours of weeding. Thanks for the update, Ryan. I loved every minute of it, the music (and the singing) and the very good editing. I'm so happy that you have had success this first year in a new place. All my best wishes, Ryan.

So happy you enjoyed it!! I really tried to crop plan for this time of year and it paid off! That spinach is so darn good, I will have many rows next year. It's my first time growing celeriac and I wasn't sure how big they were supposed to get lol. The swede was a nice surprise!! Kids and I loved it, kinda peppery and sweet....will be a staple this Winter as we have a few of them!!!! Thank for noticing. So much goes on and I don't think many folks really understand how many hours on little stuff we put in!!! If I haven't told you lately, you are awesome and I appreciate you. I always look forward to your comments. Hope you have a fantastic week my friend:))

It's been a tough go these past 3 years. I understand the romantic allure of market gardening, yet I also see why so many don't make it. The amount of work it takes to have a weed free, well taken care of growing area, is not something that comes across in vids or the books! Thankfully I have my daughters fully on board....and I can out stubborn a mule! I appreciate you stopping by, hope you have aa great Fall:))
