Late Summer Dry Flies

Lank and I set out for a quick adventure. With the cooler temps, we had decided to use dry droppers on this trip, and it turned out to be just a topwater bite only! These bass really smash those topwater dries at times!

What wt rods do you guys use on trips like this? What's a good wt for small creek fishing like this in Alabama?

I primarily use a 3wt 7’6”. Anything larger than that is kinda overkill. But if I am casting large streamers, I will bring my 5 or 6wt to help with distance. I am planning on getting Lank a 4wt soon.
