Trolling for walleye from the canoe is my new favorite thing in the world. It's exactly like getting hung up they hit like a weed. If I catch one good little eater I'm a happy boy. Fry em up with Schishimi Togarashi seasoning and boil up the collar and carcass and pick the bones for the dog!

Favorite Method would be pulling jerkbaits behind the boat, between .8 and 1.2mph When the water temp is lower they smash the jerkbait and will seem to fight much harder! Great vid guys!!

Walleye swallow the hook themselves. If we set the hook their mouths are soft and will pull right out.
