This is going to sound weird but hear me out😂. Probably not even related, but I like going down rabbit trails, so....🙃. In verse 7:54, after Steven was speaking, and it says, "cut to the quick," and the first thing I thought abt was a dog's nail (hear me out now, don't judge me). I like dog grooming videos, so I remember a groomer saying the "quick" was basically where the blood vessels are in the nail, and is super sensitive. So with that knowledge, I'm like, "am I tripping, is that kinda the same thing?" Lol so of course I google. Because google is our friend. One of the definitions was something like, "cutting through the dead parts of a thing to get to the live, sensitive parts of that thing." And it was kinda interesting to me because if you look at it from a spiritual perspective and looking at their hearts and how they reacted...yeah lol. It also references 2:37 which shows an opposite reaction from being, "cut to the heart (or quick depending on the translation)." Heart posture I guess. Lol but anyway, I told you to hear me out. Leave it to me to find the most random, minute things and make a big deal abt it😂😂 Back to bed I go. 😂😂
