great souding! where did you put the zoom H1 for the recording?

I must say Im not 100% convinced about the zoom h1 from this recording. Theres definitely some bad distortion when the vocals are happening. The rest of the band sounds good but still a slight distortion and muffled. I wonder if having the gain lower could have helped or something. Maybe its not that good in small rooms..
