Or the way he confessed to Ivanka that the family was basicaly broke and owed some $9B to his investors like Deutsche Bank? Or how about the way the economy tanked when he refused to take Covid seriously and even publicly ridiculed the medical experts who were telling him it was dangerous and deadly, claiming he knew more than they did about it? Or maybe you mean the tax bill he so eagerly signed that gave even more money to the ultra-rich and left the middle class & poor with even fewer scraps but still got them to believe it actually helped them? Or how about his utterly psychotic behavior like splattering the walls of the WH & #MAGALoco with ketchup when he got angry, or the way he walked across Lafayette St Pk to hold a Bible up that wasn’t even his and how he agreed to have that park cleared of protestors with mounted cops, tear gas, concussion grenades and helicopters? And the success he had in alienating our allies in the world, eroding peaceful diplomacy and praising dictators like Putin, Xi, Kim, Erdogan and most recently Orban of Hungary, all because he thinks he can be a dictator and destroy democracy in our country? (Of course, you can leave Xi and Kim off that list…) And there was his ultimate success of encouraging thousands of #MAGAites to storm the Capitol and cause a riot after he spent 2 mos riling them up on TV and Twitter, waiting 3 hours before saying one word to stop them and then calling them “very special”. @@TY9941_ What success? He's failed at every business attempt, cheated on his taxes, in the 1980s/90s the IRS said he was the most in debt of any single person in the country, has been sued by everyone whom he ever hired because he never paid them. He isn't worth as much as he claims, and he manipulated banks by inflating the value of his properties. The only success he had was being a TV star, and that role was based on the lie that he was a successful businessman, a myth which he perpetuated. You cannot objectively and honestly say he was or is a success. Hell, he even won the Presidency by manipulation not by legitimate success. As a lawyer, I never really feel tempted to violate the ethics rules or do any other kind of bad laywering unless I have a really bad client. The kind who manipulates, bullies, attempts to bribe, gaslights, omits important facts, etc. These are the kind of people who when you stand up for yourself they remind you your communication about your representation are confidential and you can't tell anyone. On some level I feel bad for people who represent Donald Trump, but at the same I feel like they are naive for taking him on as a client in the first place and cowards for not getting out as soon as they should have known they were in over their heads.

@@kieranhair37 If they could have put her in jail don't you think Trump would've had them do that at some point during the whole 4 years he had on power to have done that? I mean he had sworn to everyone within earshot & all his fans & donors, for all of 2016, that he'd put her in jail, but he never even tried cause he knew she hadn't done anything bad, (cause he KNEW how bad she could've acted because he himself was planning to be as crooked as possible, grift as much money from he treasury aspossible, do everything she had not done when she was there with Obama.) To be clear, if ANY politician, any POTUS, V.P. or Senator does anything prosecution worthy, all Americans should realize that they all need to be prosecuted if they commit crimes, & they all should serve the sentence they're given if they're found guilty. You won't find me, or the majority of Americans and Democrats, sacrificing my freedom , my integrity, my relationship with reality & provable facts or my decency to support any politician's criminal behavior, or their rude, inappropriate, immature, racist, misogybist, draft dodging, tax evading, bank defrauding, stealing from their own charities, running fake busineesses & pu$%y grabbing behaviors either. If they do the crime they can face the justice system just like the other millions of poverty stricken Amercan citizens have had to do & they can also do the time just like others have had to serve, for things as dumb as smoking a joint, this man has killed people with his mouth, with his inept leadership when he putt his stocks above millions of American's lives who got deathly sick because of his decisions when covid hit, people who are now disabled from the lung/heart damage of long covid. He's ruined thousands of lives directly by asking others to attack people who told the truth about him. Poor Amercans have had to do years in prisons for FAR lesser crimes that harmed no one but themselves possibly. We all should expect politicians who do criminal things to be charged, prosecuted and sentenced if found guilty... that's how we all should be, to protect OURAELVES from them. Even so, you have to admit that using a wrong server is NOTHING compared to getting a mother of 5 killed (beause she believed his lies about the election, when HE was the only one actually cheating to TRY to stay in the White House.) and nearly getting his VP HUNG AT OUR CAPITOL, while he sent armed people there that he KNEW some were armed, then e sat watching on tv for more than 3 hours while they savagely attacked and beat on police officers. He refused many people begging him to send them some help, to send in troops, refused to protect them when 1 phone calllwas all he had to do, but he did not CARE.. He committed a dereliction of his sworn duty, hearing his people, his mob of THOUSANDS screaming on his tv, "HANG PENCE " he heard it just like I did that day while it happened. Now hundreds are in jail for trying to help him stay in office, because they trusted his lies, and went & beat up over 100 police officers badly, putting one's eyeball out & breaking and entering a locked federal building after they broke through the officers lines. His exact words that morning in front of OUR White House was telling them that they "needed to go FIGHT for their country or they wouldn't have a country to fight for anymore." Well, we're still here and nothing happened bad to anyone except for the poor fools who tried to use their weapons to hold an insurrection at Trump's request & the officers his fans attacked. What, pray tell, can you tell me that either Clinton did that comes anywhere close to praising Putin and Kim Jung Un, or taking Putin's side over all of his own intelligence agencies (in a live press conferene in Helsinki) or the half a million who died becuse he refused to close our borders when the first 5 cases of covid19 hit here? So when they do this crap then I'll be as tore about it as I am about the criminal who thinks he still is able to be a POTUS of all Americanswhen he has disqualified himself by not protecting the officcers on Jan 6, 2020 or the Senators.....

Okay, for those who don't know... Al Capone was a notorious Chicago gangster, bootlegger and crime boss who was behind the Chicago Valentine's Day massacre in 1929. He went to prison at age 33 for tax evasion (because they couldn't get him for all the other crimes he had committed). He had untreated syphilis (there was no treatment then), and he regressed mentally to a point that they released him from prison, because a doctor had declared that by that point he had the mentality of a child. He died at his home (in Florida) at age 48 from a heart attack following a stroke. He was a vile, chaotic human being, though yeah, I guess he was hot stuff for a while. This is the person Trump wants to compare himself to? Of course he doesn't know any history, so he doesn't know anything, or how to put things into context. He just knows, "famous, notorious, exciting, still being talked about."

It's totally biased is what it is. Obviously Trump was highlighting the obvious discrepancy of a notorious murdering gangster who committed umpteen heinous vicious violent crimes but only got indicted once (for tax evasion, of all things) and a former president who committed no such vicious violent crimes and yet has been indicted over 100 times. OK, you can argue that just because a vicious violent criminal gets away with virtually all his crimes, does not mean that a non violent criminal should be let off. I understand that. But zealously prosecuting a former president for things for which there is somewhat speculative evidence does come across as very heavy handed, and unnecessary - unless, of course, there is a political motivation to stop him from running in 2024.

The thing is, this is the base of Trump's empire, and seems to be the one Trump attaches a bunch of his self-esteem with. It's built upon the business Fred Trump SR, Trump's father, built, so that could be why it's taken a smidge longer to implode. While Fred SR seems to have been a deplorable human (once arrested while in a parade with the KKK), he somehow built a sound (?) business.

It would be nice if tax payers could sue public officials if they feel they've been wronged, and if the case makes it to court, the official must automatically pay all court fees, since its their actions that brought about the case, as well as the fact that it's our money in their pockets anyway.

@@kitcoffey7194 Eh, let 'em believe what they want. All they're doing is preaching to the choir that was going to vote the same way they do anyway. No independent voter is going to see this and respect the party that spent half a comment section shitting on dead people. Literally all this kind of humor serves to accomplish is driving away the votes they need most. But I'd bet you money that if they lose, they're going to act totally surprised as if they have no idea how it could've possibly happened. So, I take back my criticisms. Be as crass and dark as you possibly can. Continue making it look like you have nothing to offer a conversation that actually props up your own candidate, and instead keep spending your time making crass remarks about a woman you know nothing about and who isn't even running. Hasn't been that long since y'all voted for a rapist's wife while his victim was in the audience at the convention. But I'm sure this is totally the way to come back from that.

I'm starting to think we should place a moratorium on the phrase "damning evidence" until someone actually gets successfully damned by some of it. *God,* Trump's rallies are weird.

@@honda2363boxes of documents recovered, Trump's former legal team flipping, and Trump admitting he engaged in crime, on multiple networks..... that was easy. It's a question of the speed of a crap legal system. Trump should be damned to prison a year ago...... but that doesn't generate money for politics or the media .... that's America

I'm still waiting for someone to get Santos in a situation where there's a net and a volleyball, and he can't weasle himself out of playing a little volleyball. I don't believe for a minute this guy ever played volleyball at any level higher than what you see when drunk people play it on the beach.

@sweett2185 He doesn't have to play an entire set, or even a point. I just want to see him handle a volleyball for a bit. Or ask him a few questions about it. I used to play volleyball in school, not particularly good, but not all that bad either. Volleyball has complicated tactics that someone of his professed level should know everything about. I bet he doesn't know any of that. I would also like to see a record of his knee surgery. From this guy, you shouldn't accept anything he says without evidence.
