I was just thinking the same. All of the others are, frankly, fucking awful. The worst ever being James Corden, for which I think the entire United Kingdom needs to be brought up on war crimes (and I’m a Brit) for ever letting him happen. But Seth seems vaguely human. He managed to get on alright with these two absolute legends and not come off as the worst kind of Hollywood phoney which I would have expected from the Jimmy contagion for example.

6:38 i think something was cut out or otherwise edited around this time mark, because the audience laughs die down unnaturally quick. It does leave the pick up from 6:40 very awkward but that’s often how it will be when they know during that something will be cut out.

@@michaelcoppola7096 but your point still stands i think, because Seth maybe didn’t know how to roll with “gay parties” so they had to edit around it. Could be totally wrong, but it’s got that vibe.
@elixtirr26117 ай бұрын
Straight people tend to react that way sometimes cause they are either worried about saying something offensive (if they laugh at the situation) or they just don’t understand gay culture. I have encountered this before when interacting with cis/straight classmates and it’s so awkward and funny. But when I talk with other queer people, it’s very natural
@icantollie6 ай бұрын
Well I think the mention of "poof doof" right after "bush doof" while Seth was still mentally processing that came out of left field so he just didn't know what to do with it for a split second. IMHO that is actually a compliment to Seth because he is genuinely interested and engaged enough where you can see he was trying to follow and let everything sink in whereas a lesser interviewer like Colbert would just gloss over it and it would barely register with them
