In 1997's The Jackal, about 18 minutes in, the Canadian Postal Code for The Jackal's Montreal delivery address is in an incorrect format. The correct format is letter-number-letter number-letter-number (e.g., A1B 2C3). The postal code in the movie was letter-letter-letter number-number-number (e.g., ABC 123).

Weasel walks into a busy bar and sits down on a stool. Bartender asks, "What can I get you?" Weasel asks, "Do you have any grapes?" Bartender tells the weasel that this is a bar and they only serve drinks, no food. Every time the bartender walks past the weasel it always asks, "Do you have any grapes?" After several times of this the bartender gets angry looks at the weasel and says, "If you ask me that one more time I'm going to take a hammer and nail and nail your mouth to the bar." Weasel gets up leaves. Next day weasel comes in again and sits down at the same stool. Bartender sees it and immediately gets angry. He walks over to the weasel and loudly demands, "What do want?" To his surprise the weasel asks, ""Do you have any nails?" The bartender is stunned and simply replies, "No." The weasel then asks, "Do you have any grapes?"

Pop goes the weasel isn't about the animal. It is a measuring device that sort of looks like a little windmill with a "T" at the end of each of 4 arms. In the hub is a wooden sprocket with a peg sticking out one side. Every revolution a flat wooden striker is bent back and "pops" (snaps) against a flat surface. It is for counting the length of yarn for skeins. The outer diameter of the one wrap around was a yard or something similar. You just feed it and count the pops till you have the arbitrary amount. The arms are smooth and the fiber just slides off in a big loop. My mother has one, I need to replace the popping peg. Was just looking at it as I stuffed my turkey hole with the people you don't have a choice on.

First: As soon as he said "sitting in the dark" I twiged and started laughing my head of. Second: It's funny, but even once I saw the ballon, I knew it would be the one in the hat that popped. I don't know what made me think that. And I still found it funny.

Thanks for always bringing a genuine laugh out loud moment to my week....I realise I'm clearly a committed jackal after seeing the Eddie Redmayne interview and going, wouldn't it be a funny callback to have a cutout of him pass the screen (was just missing some googly eyes).

The Parade has been improved by the addition of the Jackal "balloon". It still has a lot of flaws, but that's a step in the right direction.

That wasn’t a ferret at the end it was a Jeff Koons sculpture.
@wachinpntdry.9 сағат бұрын
but is it really "sculpture"... more like an amazing scam imo... set a bunch of unknown, nameless other people to work to make unoriginal copies of things that already exist.... put your name on it without ever having touched it.... then charge more money for it than a nice sized house... 'cause, it's "a koons".... nice work if you can get it.... basically the art worlds equivalent of the #dumpterd magat phenomenon... bunch of morons placing far too much credence and value in what is objectively worthless, and blatantly fraudulent in origin

I roasted a chicken today. I brined it for 24 hours with garlic, dry spices, and a bouquet garni. I nestled it on mirepoix, cooked it at 350 for 100 minutes, and it came out juicy and perfectly flavored. I'm half as thankful for that bird as I am for Corrections today. Gratitude to the whole Late Night staff, even Scollins. Also FDJT.
