Think it's not uncommon for guests to talk about their families, especially if one of their family members happens to be equally famous and the project she's there to talk about stars him too, she also talks about her kids. I really don't think she minds, and as you say there's another section of the interview in a separate video.

Talk show hosts always talk about their guests' family members even if they are not in the showbiz. Besides, her husband's scene is easily the most memorable (and disturbing) part of the film. It is generally a disturbing movie which really intense scenes too, but that part is just, wow.
