I don't know if he just did not want to say it, but Chinchillas were not just the name for a "fabric" any more than Mink is a fabric. And yes, they did the same thing to Chinchillas as they do to Minks, to get a Chinchilla fur garment.

I have listened to 'Fish' for a while now but this is a first time seeing the faces. There are pocket rats which can sniff out land mines. I followed the researcher and cannot recall her name. I believe also shown in a video from Rare Earth.

I was thinking it was something to do with the fact chinchillas can't be washed with water, and there was some drug residue on the chinchillas that a dog or something picked up, that wasn't on the kingpin because he'd showered

I misheard as chihuahua, the little dog. Police raid a house, find a pile of drugs and a bunch of dogs. They track down the kingpin, who of course says 'That place isn't mine.' But they bring in the dogs and they all go over to the familiar Kingpin.

my guess - the state the fight was in had a strict laws about animal furs and what is legal to make from animals. And the kingpin was actully arrested for wearing the chinchilla fur coat.

I love the chinchilla/chihuahua mixup and hope it stays because I definitely thought of a chihuahua when they said chinchilla. Then I thought, "huh, chinchilla... sure, they are lil pets more commonly now, but they were always used in the past for OH SNAP" and that's how I figured it out... 😂😂

My guess is that I know chinchillas will wash themselves in sand/dust- so the pet chinchillas got into the cocaine, bathed in it, then later the powder got tested and connected to the kingpin

Initial thoughts: Frank Lucas brought his own dear chinchilla to the match; a few dozen other chinchillas were released to create chaos for FL and distract him well enough to get him caught? Maybe they got his dog as leverage on him? Maybe get his dog run "back" to one of his hideout/evidence? He (FL) was too focused into trying to get his precious dog back among the mêlée, that he let something slip, or allowed ample time to have the "authorities" do a proper search & seizure?

Edit 0:49: I just got that chinchillas are not dogs, but rodents. I was thinking of chihuahua dogs. **pauses to let the laughter subside** So, some of what I said hold on. And I add that they could have bugged his rodent in the confusion, and get juicy evidence because FL would have held his tiny friend close to his face (mouth/speech for wiretapping)?

Um, those were hopefully fur farm chinchillas, not pets. Also, for a fur length coat, try closer to 300 chinchilla.Only a tiny patch of fur from the hide of each one is used to make a coat. I'm not a animal rights activist, but status symbol furs are just a waste.
