OMG Doc! You absolutely get it! I asked my doctor for this very result, and she claimed to understand but did not. I went back for a revision; it was 100% clear then she really didn't understand because her reaction was "so you want fat in your thighs?" I felt so duped and stuck because that's where all my money was. I really don't want to do this again but, after seeing this.....IDK. I wish I found you when I was doing my research. Beautiful results!

It is difficult because as surgeons we don't train with terms like "laterals"--it really came from patients, and not every patient understands the term in the same way either. So sometimes it is like the patient and the surgeon are speaking different languages and there can be miscommunication. It's really why I try to explain what I do on video and try to be clear so when patients see me they know what I do and what they can expect. If they want something else than I say go to someone who does what you are looking for already. I know it can sound very arrogant like "I do what I do, take it or leave it" but I don't mean it that way. I just want patients to understand where I lipo and where I inject fat. So they know what they are getting. They know what to expect. I can't make everyone look like an IG model but I can give everyone their own Ogee. For me it is all about the Ogee, but I don't want to force everyone to get the Ogee. I think of it as if you want the Ogee I got you but if you want something else than it may be harder to achieve your goals.

Ohh wow that explanation about the tremendous lordosis was amazing! I have always loved the look on my back and it’s really curved on the bottom, I did not know that it’s a blessing and a curse, that explains the reason why I have low fat on my back but most of my fat is stored on my stomach.

That's great to hear. At this time point you should be using the roller in a little different way. Now you are going to use it like it is a Manual Lymphatic Drainage machine. Follow these instructions: Shift to a gentle approach with the Roller. On its highest vibration setting, the Ogee Roller facilitates Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Apply soft, vibrational pressure, directing the left side of your body's fluid towards the left groin and the right side towards the right groin. These groin areas house the lymph nodes, which act as the body's drainage system. To effectively redirect the fluid, it's essential to open the lymphatic channels. This is achieved using a GENTLE touch and the Roller's high vibrational setting. In this step, let the Ogee Roller do the heavy lifting. The lighter the pressure, the better. Agreed, I don't like lats and this my problem now. My left side is a hip but my right side is a lat and I'm prob gonna be looking into a R2 to get that fixed bc it's just SUPER obvious the right side is bigger and more projected than the left smh! I would guess that I have operated on at least 100 patients with fibromyalgia and we always talk about pain control after surgery but I can say that I don't recall anyone with fibromyalgia having a hard time controlling pain after their surgery.

You can. Personally I do not do just muscle tightening on patients in your situation but it certainly can be done. I tighten the muscles on ALL of my tummy tucks.

The body prefers to lose internal fat first so usually the stomach will get flatter while the butt is preserved.

That is a very good point. I actually agree. But I have taken a long time to develop the Ogee technique, and it's how my eye works. I really can't do anything else. That's why I always say if you want a specific look than go to the surgeon that will give you what you want. You can tell them exactly where YOU want the fat placed etc. I am not trying to be arrogant and say my way or the highway--there are plenty of surgeons all with different styles--just find one you like and go with them. The Ogee is not for everyone. But I can't be making a shelf one day and then laterals the next day and an upside down heart the next day etc. I feel as if I would not be creating beauty, but just following orders and not doing what I thought was pretty.
