Absolutely agree with the rebuttals. When the son gains a wife he leaves his parents and cleaves to his wife. No one is implying that you leave your family alone. But when mama leaves this earth…. Wife is by his side. You can not let parents dictate how you show up in your own household. Patents will not let their CHILDREN dictate what goes on in theirs. They are now parents. They have to raise their household the way they see fit.

My husband comes first and he puts me first above his mother and his mother is a single parent but cutting the cord is a healthy part of life. We still do holidays and weekends with both sides of the family HOWEVER our nuclear family comes first.

That fiancee just wanted to use his mom like a house maid, cooking, cleaning and baby sitting while they work or do their own thing. It was very smart of his mom NOT to move in with them since it had NOTHING to do with love on his fiancee side. It was only for their convenience for his mom to move in. If she had moved with them, it wouldn't have worked out well.

The brothers transitioned payments recently. But that doesn't account for years before. And her not knowing her granddaughter is a her thing because she felt slighted a woman who'd just given birth didn't lay out the red carpet. I wish Tracy had really discussed how manipulative the mom really is. And recommended a local therapist straight away.

Actually I think it was critical for them to be on the show because they had a child. They needed to have a cohesive family relationship in order to raise a child in a loving environment. All of the other couples could walk away with no attachments , but this couple would always have to maintain contact because of the child.
