Pretty unique team composition. Idk if you already knew this trick but you can cheese the fight with all those reflect/absorb physical demons. If you have a full party who nullify physical then you can swap in a demon that reflects/absorbs physical and demi fiend will be forced to attack them with deadly fury to test that demons physical resistance(which will result in his turn being canceled) Another thing to take note of, it’s not really a good idea to stick with a full party that nulls physical as demi fiend will end up spamming freikugel, and I believe chaotic will also triggers based on the number of times he uses friekugel. So unless you’re using the cheese strat, I’d advise you to have one demon who’s physical resistance is resist instead of null/absorb/reflect, demi fiend will prioritize his attacks to the weakest link in your team. If he can damage them with physical, he will, but when they resist physical they can’t get crit either.

Now I'm curious. If Demi loses a turn to an ailment (sleep/confusion/seal) does that still increment his Gaea Rage counter?

Not 100%, but in my attempts he attempted to use it while he was sealed and was unable to, implying that the counter was building with the status aliment.

The counter to my knowledge (hehe get it) always builds every time it’s Demi’s turn no matter what. At least that’s what I counted on when I sealed him halfway in my only successful Hard Mode attempt.

You fucked up when you put null/repel/drain phys on all your demons and nahobino. Demi-fiend will straight up just do freikugel instead of deadly fury. You will take a lot of damage and Demi-Fiend can crit with that ability. Unless you do the cheeese, you need one demon with resist phys and a lot of HP. BTW I think impalers animus is better than critical aura. But then again I did this fight before metatron on my first play-through with a Magic/Luck build, so I don't know how murakumo works - never used it and never bothered.

To be honest there's a lot of issues here that you could change to make your life much easier. The fact that most of your demons have more than one attack ability shows that they don't have all the passives they need.
