I drove for a UK construction company the loads weren't as heavy as yours, but overload at any weight is a ticket, the large construction site that were going to be there some years would install a weigh bridge. Others would have a scales that hung on a crane and all the parts of the load weighed. Large one piece items would be weighed when new or first time on site, the weight is then stencil painted on the side. Jib section etc. would also be weighed and a notice of some kind attached. This was an old school contractor that went by the rules. Log books would be checked at regular intervals. Look forward to seeing the planned trip and thanks for laying the planning out to us. Stay safe out there and say hello to Sarnia as you pass by. Stayed there a year back in 1994.

Don’t forget to check the dates on your jeep and stinger inspections. It’s been a while since you’ve used them. Looking forward to the trip

Make your life easier, run HWY1 to Regina, hwy11 to Saskatoon and then hwy16, about 40km more, but twinned hwys and better roads

Matthius Schulz - When I drove for Kleyson out of Edmonton I was always on hwy 16 going to or coming from Regina. It was a little two-lanner in those days (1972).

A factory only consider the empty weight with no attachments - if you are lucky. Real value will be by multiplying the weight on the papers with a value somewhere between square root of 2 and square root of 3. (joke)

would have been nice if you left your truck at the testing grounds and EATON swapped an automated transmission for you to test out in the real world , almost like winning the lottery !
