That march or any other is not worth the life of a single human being. I recall with horror the murder of the Quinn children during the 1990s. The way forward would be through negotiation between the marchers and the residents leading to an outcome which is fair to both parties.

Eric Mourinho what like those that lived at the bottom of the road? Those that lived in the area werent allowed to walk home either. And not just during drumcree. And the enclave they lived in was attacked nightly at the time. Mostly elderly residents with a few familys. But they were the aggressors in the republicans eyes. Innocent people were hounded out of their homes for years so they could say that the road was mainly nationalist. Ballyoran and Woodside used to be mixed areas til brendan mckenna and his mob moved in and took over. Churchill Park and gardens were built 60 years after the first drumcree parade. Thet even brought people in from Belfast Newry Lurgan Dungannon and Londonderry to swell the ranks. Half those peeled aff the g road werent even resident of portadown never mind g road. So get your facts right before you chat shit. Coming from someone who lived there at the height of the troubles, the only time we felt safe on our street was when we had army saracens sat all the way up our street. Otherwise brendan would send his we battalion of young thugs on a nightly basis to terrorise old people and young children.
