The reporter has this all wrong. She says that the hung jury happened because of Proctor's bad judgment, meaning his inappropriate text messages. That's simply not true. The "not guilty" folk saw the evidence and realized that there was at least one other likely suspect, and the cops intentionally didn't even consider investigating him. They believed that because of the physical evidence, because of the snowplow driver, because of the scratches, because of the planted evidence, because of the incompetent experts within the state police, and in particular the crash "expert" who didn't understand basic physics. Should Proctor be fired for those text messages? Of course. But far more importantly, should he be fired for either running a cover-up or being totally incompetence? Absolutely. And, just as importantly, should he be charged with perjury? I think so.

Not just foul language about Karen and the corenor but the failure of a proper investigation into all suspects and property. His incompetence made it impossible to know the truth. And it gave time for Albert and Higgins both police officers to not only get new phones but destroying their phones and SIM cards🥴 Also get rid of police dog, renovate Alberts house , sell their house. Also not tape recording those who were in the house. The house had 2 front doors . Likely he entered the first door , but not main door , that is to the right of the maine door. Thats why everyone in the DR/ kitchen didnt see him . He failed to properly investigate the home were John was found to rule them out. As well as Higgins who Karen had been flirting with and testing possibilities. Higgins was a suspect in this because of his flirting back with Karen . Could he have told Albert and Jennifer McKabe? Maybe the three wanted to tell John about what Karen was doing. Voices raises by drunk men, dog reacted to protect and punches exchanged and accidentally he fell back and hit his head. They panicked and tossed him on the lawn , maybe even thinking he would wake up and go home. He wouldn't be the first drunk thrown out . Maybe thats why Jen actually texted how long died in cold at two because she knew he had been out there a while and wasn't waking up. If that was not a cops home and he did that he would be severely disciplined or fired for not looking for a potential crime scene and look for a motive and find Higgens involvement It was not just his texts it was his "typos" 🥴 incompetence mistakes , failures to have a chain of Custody of evidence, his lying to superiors that he didn't know the Alberts but had their phone number in his phone🥴 Everyone should watch the cross examination by Defense on Albert it is 🥜🥜 s. Proctor is NOT credible.

What the heck? What is a Colonel in the State Police department? I never heard such a thing. They aren't military. Does this mean he is the Chief of police? Who do these people think they are? The rules in this Justice system are so bad. I have never heard of no read backs in a trial. All the jury had during deliberations was their notes. How can you remember testimony of 70 witnesses and an ADA who asked tons of questions that had nothing to do with a murder trial? I could not believe there were jurors that voted guilty. An enormous amount of reasonable doubt. 2 expert witnesses that showed Officer John O'Keffe could not have been hit by a car. An expert that testified that the wounds on his arm were from a dog bite. The video of Karen Read when she left Johns house that morning around 5am to look for John showed her tail light was mostly intact. I could go on and on.

2 Of Trooper Proctors Supervisors were on a Text Message Chain that was exposed in the Trial, His Supervisor Fanning and Supervisor Yuri Bukhenik . They were adding Thumbs up as Proctor Objectifying Karen Read. These "Supervisors" gave thumbs up .. and never stopped Proctor from sharing all the info in a group text with highschool friends, or calling Karen read names, or putting her down for her medical conditions which he was revealing to all people in the text.. or when he was saying he is looking for nudes. // Just terrible people and no ethics.. Yuri Bukehenik and Fanning also need to be investigated.

Sgt Buekakes and Procter should both be fired, Buekakes was his boss and should have reprimanded him for his unacceptable behavior with outrageous texts. Oh yes, let's not forget. the reversed video of the police garage, where the two officers did their dirty work. smashing an already cracked tail light, when in receipt of Karen Read's SUV nearly two days after the alleged car strike. The scene at 34 Fairview, had already been searched twice finding nothing, and then when Procter and Buekakes go back to the crime scene miraculously 5 fragments of tail light suddenly appear, quite plainly planted by Procter. When that SUV left John Okeefe's house over 6 hours after Karen's car was alleged to have hit John Okeefe you can clearly see the tail light is still intact, seemingly cracked but in one piece. Why these facts were not over-emphasized, is still a mystery to me.
