Just to make a diyuk, Lyme disease is a constellation of symptoms caused by a bacterial infection, caused by the bacterium borellia burgdorferi which is a bacterium carried by deer ticks and conferred by its bites (ie if the tick is not removed within 24h usually). (It's not viral and not autoimmune, no virus involved, but the inflammation caused does cause bodily and neurological symptoms, starts with a rash, then bell's palsy, and important to know it can also caused major depression, an important thing to check if someone has new-onset major depression espsecially if it's not clear why, he should be checked for Lyme disease. B"H it's easily cured with antibiotics, if caught early on. Always have someone check you for ticks after walking in the woods in the Northeast.

@@LatestTalks lol shkoich that's how i feel sometimes trying to follow the podcast with my OK yiddish and not being from Lakewood or Chasidish... it's just he mentioned that it's a viral infection, and it's part autoimmune, noone who's not a physician else will probably care but i was just saying it's caused by a bacterium not a virus and isn't autoimmune anyway thanks for the podcast it's great!
