How many months of passive income (from rental of a house) do I need to show before I apply for the D7 visa?

So the time that you can be out of the country is counted NOT per year? So, 6 months consecutively or 8 months total within a 2 year period? Did I catch that correctly?

Hello, I'm Enow Jesse from Cameroon, I am an entrepreneur and earn up to per month ,I will like to relocate to Portugal with my family on a digital nomad visa, I have three biological kids of 16,14 and 13 years and two dependents of 17 years who are orphans and students, I'm the one taking care of them including me and my newly wedded wife. I will like to stay in Portugal for three years and the reason I'm traveling with my family is for them to study and to learn the Portuguese culture.
