Really useful video for those of us in the planning stages of moving to Portugal. There is so much bad and incomplete information out there, so it's nice to hear from people who do this for a living.

One cannot be naife on this, we know the side business that runs on immigration and legalization. So my first thought is not to trust, neither the Portuguese citizens (in that role) neither the Brazilians. If you want the most reliable information you have the official state and their offices. However these videos (alone) serve to trigger questions and rise necessaties to clarification, that can be a good side. I like Dave videos, they are honest. The other guests, I don't know their intentions. Lets assume their good ... ...

This is so confusing, moving is scary and not having enough information is terrible for the employee. Everyone i asked dont bother even replying. Nobody understands the social security fees, nobody understands taxes benefits what's claimable. The only thing that clear is the percentage payable, not discussion on rebates, what claimable? Benefits. What is clear is what contribution that one contributes to the system. But what the benefits are totally lost. The percentage is high going towards social security 35% so what does one get back for this hugh percentages that employers and employees contribute!
