Hi Mauricio,Thanks for sharing such helpful tutorial.. I have tried to make a Report following your instructions, but I am having a tough time with the references using Bibtex... I have updated Bibtex with Mendeley references. I tried to build it, but can't get the references on bibilography or on the pdf.. Instead a (?) Shows up... Please help me in this case!
@mauriciofernandez60149 жыл бұрын
+Geeniey 101 You are very welcome :D. You have to have also the right compilation procedure, that means Latex-Bib(la)tex-Latex-Latex-ViewPDF . The (?) means that the references were not found, this normally happens if Bibtex has not been executed. If bibtex is executed correctly, a .bbl file with the loaded references will be created. Minimal example, do [1], [2] and [3]: [1] create a file main.tex with the following content \documentclass{article} %% compile as follows: latex-bib(la)tex-latex-latex-viewpdf \begin{document} Test. Some examples \cite{Lastname1:2015}. \cite{Lastname3:2014}. \bibliographystyle{acm} \bibliography{library} \end{document} [2] create a file library.bib with the following content @article{Lastname1:2015, author = {Lastname1, First1 and Lastname2, First2}, journal = {Journal1}, number = {5}, pages = {1573--1587}, title = {{Title1}}, volume = {55}, year = {2015} } @article{Lastname3:2014, author = {Lastname3, First3}, journal = {Journal2}, number = {2}, pages = {1500--1523}, title = {{Title2}}, volume = {50}, year = {2014} } [3] - try first to compile main.tex with latex-viewpdf and you will only see [?] since bibtex has not been run - open library.bib within texmaker by clicking on it in the structure area, with that the file will be read and you will get the automcompletition (very useful) - change compilation to latex-bib(la)tex-latex-latex-viewpdf and you will get the references

Hi! Sure, go to "Options" - "Configure Texmaker" - "Editor". There you will find under "Spelling dictionary" several options. Click on the folder. US and British are denoted there by "en_US.dic" and "en_GB.dic", respectively.
