Thanks a lot for this very helpful set of tutorials! I do have one problem with the LaTeX package: is it possible to add extra levels of sections? If i also use chapter and paragraph i still don't have enough of them; is it possible to add subsubsubsections? thx

Thank you for the video, Michele. it was really useful! Do you know if there's any option that makes the editor screen to stay in the same place it was before building the pdf even if it encouters an error? I'm asking that cause my tex files always have tons of errors that the compiler somehow fixes automatically so I don't need to worry about it. But now I'm using texmaker I have to move the scrol to the part I was writing since it automatically moves to the line in wich there's the first error the compiler found and I waste too much time with that. Thank you again and keep up the good work!

Yes i've also used that one, but i was wondering if it isn't possible to define a subsection-alike function myself? like in the tutorials about macros? Or maybe another document style (such as article, book...) has more possiblities for subsubsub... sections? Or maybe there is a way to adapt the numbering of sections so that i can make section titles appear on another level (like changing subsection title from 1.1 to 1.1.1?) thx alot for the fast answers :)

Thank you for uploading these videos, they are extremely helpful. I have a question though, what is the name of the button you click at around 0:32-0:35 in the video? I can't see it and I only have 3 buttons at the bottom of my screen. Structure, Messages/Log, and Source Viewer.

"pdf viewer" - you have to check the "embed" option to see it
@MichelleKrummel13 жыл бұрын
@Bruce99Lee LaTeX does not want to break a line that does not exist. You would use \\ at the end of a line, not at the end of empty space. To break and get the space of an empty line, type \vspace{\baselineskip} \vspace does not add lines, but space, and you don't want a line but space. Adding vertical space between paragraphs by using \\ is not accepted by LaTeX ("Latex error. There's no line here to end.").
